Bikes for Batavia

Bikes for Batavia works with several groups including Batavia Rotary Club and  CHIP IN Batavia to distribute donated bicycles to local students, adults, and families in need. Volunteers inspect, repair and fit each bike to its intended recipient. Each bicycle recipient also gets a bike lock and helmet.

Bikes for Batavia works with many Fox Valley groups to identify bike recipients in cooperation with the principals, counselors and staff of Batavia Public Schools.

Donated bicycles help improve the quality of life of recipients by providing transportation to work, school, and shopping, or by serving as a means of recreation and exercise

Donating to Bikes for Batavia

Currently, Bikes for Batavia has a surplus of donations. However, bike locks and new (with tags) helmets are always needed. Monetary donations are accepted to help purchase replacement parts so the bikes are in working order when delivered to the recipients. If interested in making a monetary or bicycle donation, please contact Bikes for Batavia.

If you, or someone you know, is in need of a bicycle, please contact XXX.
