Billing & Payment

Utility bills for electric, water and wastewater services are distributed monthly. The City of Batavia offers multiple ways to pay your utility bill: online, through automatic withdrawals, by mail, in person, and over the phone.

Online Bill Pay for Utility Bills

To pay your bill online and/or view your utility bills, create an account through the customer portal. You’ll need to have your utility billing account number to create the account, and the form requires you to fill in your service address number. This is the address number only. Here’s an example:
 100 N. Island Ave. – Enter: 100
 33W123 Main St.—Enter: 36W123
 101-103—Enter: 101-103

Once your account is set up, you can view your bill, arrange for paperless billing, request email or text new bill notifications, make a one-time payment, or set up direct pay through a credit card. A transaction fee will be charged.

Automatic Withdrawal from your bank account

To have your monthly bill payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the bill payment due date, please complete the Direct Payment Program (PDF)  form and email it to utilitybilling@bataviail.gov, or mail or drop it off to the Utility Billing Office, City of Batavia, 100 N.
